Who doesn't like a good smokey steer?! Here is one that would work for a showman looking for something to stand out at their county fair... and still be good enough to be right in the mix of things!

WOW! Whatever words you'd use to describe a damn good one, insert them here. This calf is worth the trip to Spencer to see. When you're standing in the lot looking at this Eye Candy steer, if he doesn't get you excited about showing steers then there may be no hope for you in the showring!
In all seriousness, this steer is a soggy, deep bodied, sound made one, that has plenty of muscle and power, and the right look to get along all year. AND, I've never seen one hairier!! As of 10/12/11, we've had him three weeks, and have shaved his head 3 times... I've never seen anything like it, he grows hair so fast!!

This Heatwave steer is the right kind. Big boned and powerful! Stout hipped, and big backed. Wide based, and moves wide, yet still fluent and flexible. Deep and shapely in his rib design, good through his shoulder and attractive necked. The possibilities and potential that this one offers are endless. He's definitely major state fair quality, and you'd be loaded for bear at any other show!

Here's a steer that would work in many scenerios. He's a stout made steer, lots of power and body. Easy feeding and low maintenance. Would be ideal for any county fair, and a great choice if you're looking to show at the Spring & Summer jackpots!

Steer
Sire: Smilin Bob
Dam: Chunky Monkey
DOB: March

Looking for something a little different? Here's a yellow Char that is pretty cool! He's huge footed and boned! Very powerful down his top and through his hip, quarter and stifle. Big ribbed. Sound. Hairy. And, very gentle --perfect for a young showman in that aspect... but good enough for any showman serious about winning!

I appologize for the lower picture quality of this one... it was too dark and rainy to shoot pictures outside after I clipped this red Heatwave steer Tuesday night. This steer is that good, dark cherry red color, and is the right kind too. He's a little greener than some, but is great patterned and has awesome potential! Wide based, true in his muscle shape and thickness, good bellied, good footed, and sound as a cat. This is the kind of steer that will make the owner look really good next summer when he's still sound and complete, and getting around those steers whose structural issues and lack of balance have caught up with them! Buy with confidence here!

Tag 38: Sold! Here's one of those hereford steers that you see at a show and say, "now that's a cool Hereford steer!" Good haired and made like the black cattle. Here's a great purebred option for those looking for a breed steer!

I don't think we've ever had one this gentle! Mother approved for 1st year showman for sure! And make no mistake, he's not one of those calves that the only thing good is his nature... quite the opposite! He's plenty good enough in quality too! VERY big bodied --both deep and wide! He's sound, nicely balanced, and good patterned. Would work great at earlier fairs.

Tag 40: Sold! This chromed up Alias steer is pretty cool! Lots of top, hip & quarter! Deep bodied, good necked, and easy to look at! He'd work great at a later summer or early fall show, and is good enough for whatever level you have in mind.
